Well, I’m not the fastest when it comes to posting on here, but I still want to share some photos from a very special strike mission in January. I’ve been talking about going to Mallorca with
@lucas_schlueppy ever since he moved there a few years ago. Then
@kaikroeger , who I met in Indo last year, moved there too. The two connected and have been surf buddies since, scouting waves on the island.
Fast forward to this January, when a huge purple blob showed up on the charts for the Mediterranean, creating a 4-5 day window of possible surf in Mallorca, which, I was told, is super rare. I called up
@ericbeck.co , and we went for it last minute, trying to keep our expectations as low as possible and treating everything that came our way as a score.
I don’t want to give away too much just yet, as we’ll be releasing more on this soon, but we definitely scored some fun waves, reconnected with friends, drove a lot, and went to „Ballermann“—only to run as far away from it as we could (a 1-hour hike deep into the national park, to be exact).
