Samples used for "Sea Of Nothingness". Sometimes you need many tiny samples and long searching to make it work, and there are times the match is quick and simple. It just works.
When searching for samples, I’m drawn to images that trigger memories or simply feel right. One image becomes the starting point, followed by others that either complement or strongly contrast it. In this work, the praying mantis was the starting point. The aim is to create a unified image that isn’t immediately readable, where mood and energy matter more than explanation.
Samples used for "Sensory Overload". The image with the woman on top of another woman comes from "Heavy Traffic" from the great Ralph Bakshi. His style is so unique, no one does it like him.
