Welp, it’s been over a year since I posted on here. Here’s a fraction of the hoots, hollers and everything in between from that timeframe. I s’pose I should provide an update; I now have a home base and live in Portland, Oregon. I still sell vintage full time @indyroadgoods and I still enjoy hosting work and marketing when it aligns. Life is still bitchin’. I’m continuously bopping around the USA as much as I can manage and meeting the most interesting folks I can muster up. I continue to take in life & read to attempt to swell m’brain with as much useful information, both factual and existential, as I can. Thank you for sticking around to laugh with me all these years. If we ain’t laughin’ I don’t want it. Hope you’re all living your life the way you want to and enjoying the moment you’re in. If you support @indyroadgoods , or me on here for that matter, I am grateful for you. As a friendly reminder we only get one shot at this thing, do what makes you happy, but do your best at it.

I’ve been so busy hurling through space & time, I haven’t gotten around to posting on here, and not just on my vintage page @indyroadgoods , for a year and a half. This shall serve as an update to ya’s: I’m still traveling full time for over 3 years now and experiencing the pleasures & work of freedom and self reliance. I now have a van named Meriwether Lewis, I trash dig/treasure hunt daily and sell lots o’ stuff. I’ve been roaming around 90% of the lower 48 and I’m still on the unrelenting philosophical psychedelic metaphysical journey of knowledge, spirituality and the human experience. I’ve made lots of new friends I am grateful to now know. I’ve continued to post on stories when I meet interesting folks and share their journeys. I camp a lot and I’m still heavily listening to books and currently finishing Carl Jung’s autobio. I still identify as Waylon Jennings. I burn lotsa wood, iParty, iLearn, iGrow and life still rules. Thank you all for sticking around my page all these years 🫂 Super shoutout to anyone who has supported my business @indyroadgoods which is nearly 3 years old now. I really appreciate it. Love y’all.

Just a handful of the beautiful people (and animals) around the USA who have made the last 8 months of my life on the road a magical time full of love and fun and friendship and laughter and memories, etc etc etc… Can’t believe how lucky I am. So grateful. The road goes on forever and the party never ends. #enya #billyocean #bobseger #tinaturner #stevienicks #waylonjennings #zztop #abba #alanwatts

Life Update! Over the last year I’ve spent hundreds of hours in thrift and antique stores around North America. I started selling vintage on IG ♻️ @indyroadgoods from different cities while on the road to pay the bills, be able to travel consistently, and because I love vintage of course. My time in the stores/on the road is not only buying treasures to resell, but also to seek out unique individuals to connect with who I find to be fascinating and likeminded. I’ve been lucky enough to come across a cast of characters that inspire me to continue my path on the road and to have human connections with strangers that may change my life, if even just for a day. Path is an indelible part of life that shapes who we are. I love the treasure hunt, but I also love gathering the wealth of knowledge and life experience from my new muses. I’m looking forward to what’s around the next corner for me. THANK YOU TO ANYONE WHO HAS SUPPORTED @indyroadgoods

☁️ The Simpsonssssssss 🎶 South Dakota had the best clouds. I saw the largest collective of bison I’d ever seen. I also fell in love with the Black Hills, they’re mystical & historical. PS do you think a prairie dog would make a good pet? #badlands #southdakota #badlandsnationalpark

Hadn’t posted from my trip to NZ yet, but wanted to share my visit to Frodo’s hometown; Hobbiton, aka The Shire, since it’s a bit like we are part of a movie plot in our individual lives amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. If you’re a Lord of the Rings fan, this cute ass place exists and you can visit it if you make it to the north island of New Zealand. Was a special day and I would love to quarantine there with Frodo, Sam, Bilbo and the whole gang. #hobbit #frodo #lordoftherings #thehobbit #dork #hashtag #mordor #gollum

Watched the sun rise two weeks ago at this sacred monument; Shiprock, NM. This volcanic formation has a lot of fascinating Native American history and is located on Navajo Nation lands. Happy to experience it in person. I tried to imagine how this place would have been & looked in ancestral times. Wish I could time travel. 🌞🦅

“Made it to @williamstrobeck ’s “My Lovely Mess.” 🎨 install this past week. I love how committed he was to uprooting his entire living space, belongings, collections, EVERYTHING from his apartment and was meticulous with how accurate the build out is to his home, not to mention the thousands of photos. Dedicated 🏆 Thank you for the tour Bill. If you’re in NY go check it out, it’s at @Milk Gallery until Dec 1st.”
