They did that, Community!! 🎉10 more incredible young women are now fully published authors, and workforce graduates for Simply Youth Institute.
I am just in awe of these superstars! 🤩Let’s celebrate their incredible accomplishment. Do you know how challenging it is to be published? Let alone perform at a book release? They did all of that and more!
They spent 6 months side by side, working together on:
1️⃣increasing their personal confidence so they can take up MORE SPACE (come on now, no more shrinking)
2️⃣telling their story the way they want to, utilizing creative expression to bring about personal healing and reclamation of power (they showed off on this part)
3️⃣building lifelong professional and friend networks with likeminded colleagues.
These are you future leaders’ folks, and I am beyond proud to celebrate their voices in their collection: WE RISE IN OUR OWN WORDS: A Collegiate Anthology of Resilience and Self-Celebration. 📕
