Happy Fathers Day to the man who taught me how to speak Spanish, how to cut a straight line 🎨 and how I am never above any task nor anyone. To the man who had us bike over 1,000 miles across France when I was 11, who sent me to live in China to learn Mandarin when I was 16 and who also let me go back and live in Cuba for a Summer when it was still illegal to go. “Just fly through Mexico” he said and I did. To the man who raised me as a single father from the age of 2 in a 2 bedroom apartment and for a few years, in a 1 bedroom apartment. I am so grateful for it all. To have been raised by my Dad will always be one of my life’s greatest gifts. 💛
Looking back, the little things we loved as kids often shape the lives we build later. I didn’t follow a traditional path, but every step led here. I was raised by a single dad, never went to college and moved to China when I was 16. Ten years later, that curiosity and grit have grown into a company I now get to expand and franchise ♥️
