earlier this year @greenfinch_books reached out to me to write a book about sabrina carpenter, and tbh i thought it was too good to be true but then, 25,000 words and a billion breakdowns later turns out it was not a scam it’s been fun to see it sell at places i used to force my parents to take me to as a kid (like hot topic, where i sourced many a limp bizkit patch for diy t-shirts as well as flame chain wallets) one reviewer even said it was easy to read — words i’ve never heard from a man (congratulatory). 💋 anyway, i know that celebrating yourself is cringe, but im really proud of it (plus my sisters and my friends told me i should promote it and they love me and they’re cool and right). i hope the sneaky story arch i focused in on of how it took sabrina six albums to make it “big” through persisting and self belief & hard work seeps into the brains of everyone who reads it. also, i handpicked each photo and they’re pretty. all my love to little erica, you’d be buzzing to know you can buy your words at barnes & noble - where you too can still buy it gift it, read it, where fine books are sold … link in bio, etc. polaroids by the formiddable @evazar taken on a SPICE GIRLS polaroid camera, because first and foremost, girl power. 🎀xx
