Thank you so much for the engagement and all the suggestions for the name of this sweater! In the poll on my previous post it was Swirl sweater that got the most votes, but I was kindly noticed that there is already a sweater named that. I was considering naming it Candy Swirl instead but it just did not taste right (pun intended) 😋
So I landed on the second most popular name suggestion which was Bolcher sweater - named after danish candy and the most beautiful authentic candy store in Copenhagen called Sømods Bolcher (a must visit if you are ever in Copenhagen!!) 🍬
I have special plans for this sweater and I cannot wait to share them with you! 🫶🏻✨

My book about leftover yarn is being released in Germany, Sweden and Denmark this fall!!! It will also be released in USA, but I do not have a date for the release yet. I am so excited to share this book with an even bigger market, and hopefully be able to inspire even more knitters to use their leftovers - or help others use their leftovers by buying secondhand yarn if you dont have any yourself! The secondhand market is full of yarn (at least here in Norway, where there is about 288 000 skeins of leftover yarn for sale) so lets use it!
In the book I write about how to organize your yarn storage, including a chart of all the yarn cathergories that I mentioned above with examples of which types of yarn that fits into each cathegory, and lots of tips and techniques on how to work with leftovers 💚 last but not least - there is also 21 patterns based on the cathegories in my yarn chart!

The time before traveling home for Christmas ✨ I’ve been settling into our new home by hosting dinner parties, knitting candy cane pillows, and decorating for the holidays ❄️ In between several rounds of sickness, the past months have also been full of exciting work moments, from giving a talk about scrap yarn at @frauna_frogner , to creating the Operamittens for @operaen_ , and, of course, everyday life with the @knitapp team 🤩

It has been a bit quiet from me the last few months, and it is for the best reasons only! In between moving from England back to Oslo, taking a break from social media during summer vacation, starting a full time job with @knitapp , buying my first appartment (!!) together with my boyfriend, moving to our new appartment… it has just not been enough hours in a day to prioritise posting on social media!
However - I feel like things are about to slow down (hopefully), just in time for my favorite knitting-time of the year: fall 🍁✨
