She brought love to all us all. It was instantaneous. Chloe Bird was family. She was rescued from an old unknown life and I was so excited to share so many places with her. She opened up so many dogs who never played to join her, she kissed little kids, she was so mellow everyone commented, she never barked (only when super stoked), she loved every day. I will continue to write about her often. The pain I’m going through only confirms I understand love. Chloe quickly became the Bird (a name I chose because Peanut sent me birds daily) and now I can’t go outside without seeing her connect in some way. Today is one month since I lost her and she is ever so present. I’m taking the steps and appreciating everyone who has been by my side, I’ll never stop feeling the love. ❤️ LOVE YOU BIRD! ❤️

I always say it’s amazing who you meet, ping off of, connect with or take a glimpse into in this life with 8 billion people on this floating rock in space. A coffee shop, a guided trip, the intersection of a bike trail or a dog park ❤️. it is just meant to be. I have an obsession with everyone, with your life, your passions, the books you read and the moments that you thrive from. For years now when on a road trip I have a brief short or deep conversations, see someone on the last walk with their old pup and snap a keepsake polaroids. The moment we have now is what I have live for. The present moment ❤️. There will always be new moments but those that pass are always worth remembering, loving and cherishing. I could not ask for a more amazing family. Blood related and beyond. ❤️ 🦅 🥜
This is week two since the loss of Bird. Im still not in my body but every hug I receive helps restore. I dream of Bird running on the trails and nibbling my wrist which made me laugh so much when I would itch her back legs. She brought so much joy and passion and I wanted so badly to learn more about her. Love forever Chloe Bird @chloe_bird_rescue_dog

❤️ when I visit my parents in SoCal it is mandatory to visit the dog beach. I feel so lucky to be able to share this with the Bird. She played hard with all the dogs, made friends in all directions and had another of the best days of her life. There’s nothing she didn’t enjoy and she was by my side the entire way. Love you little Bir Bir ❤️ right now we would be in our morning sunrise walk, Ravens squawking at us, deer along the fence line, you being so good just to say hello and find a zone to poop. The cold air was the best way to wake up, the sunshine lightning the Moab rim. The Zoomies you would get as I’d find a stick to throw for you. Holy shit, I want this all again. ❤️
♥️ July 1 was her adoption day. She was my new family member and I was so excited and happy. Our first trip was up to the uintas to hike peaks, enjoy lakes and I would rope solo while she found her new joy of staring at chipmunks 🐿️. She just loved them. We shifted north to an amazing stay in Tensleep canyon, more cragging, runs, lakes, adventure and a wild adventure further north in Cody at buffalo Bill reservoir. We stopped to take in the views and she was loving life. I could write for ever about all of the days we lived together. Chloe Bird was so excited for all days and there were many all over the west. We were lucky. She made every day better. ❤️ @chloe_bird_rescue_dog
