I’ve been wanting to do this climb for a while and it was everything you could want including off widths and falling rocks! I love that the mountains keep you honest, you have to keep climbing, you have to keep walking in the dark, the car is so far away, but you have to keep walking. Long hike to the edge of the country we call home, great to get to climb a classic, cathedral peak, and to spend time with friends!!! Thanks @have_tent_will_travel for rallying 20 mile approach’s off the couch, and dodging thunderstorms through the crux!!!
Had a great day slabbing it out on excalaber at the illusion wall! The rock is superb, and the climbing was fantastic!!! Don’t get scared away by the approach, 💯 percent worth it!
