Suno is great for people who don’t care about music, and those who might not have the budget to make it the right way. There are many right ways, and none of them are found within these apps. To be clear, the right way is using your creativity. The rest is what the rest is. A few years ago when those AI Beatles mashups started to show up, they were mildly entertaining, but no more than that. Certainly not something that anyone would want to put on and listen to as real. It’s like, now we see all of these logos and shit that have been created by ChatGPT, and they look dreadful. Like, do you not think for a second that we don’t know how you made that shit? It makes you and your “brand” look cheap, and IT looks like shit. That’s what Suno is to me and to so many. I will hire an artist every single time. I will hire a photographer every single time. What’s better than having people create something for you using all of the knowledge that they have gained through putting in hard work? You’re not gonna get that any other way, sorry. I’ve never felt that my livelihood was put in danger because of this stuff, and I still don’t, because millions of people still want the real, and that will never change. My teenage daughter, 18 years old, cannot be bothered with AI or anything even remotely close to it. Which is to say, I think we are all gonna be just fine… update. As expected, there have been a few negative comments here, which I suppose I invited simply by posting an opinion. I was hoping for some possible enlightenment, but of course, as expected, just a few idiots with zero constructive stuff to add to the conversation. If you scroll through, you’ll find them, they are entertaining, and only continue to drive home my belief that, it really is just for morons who have no creative ability whatsoever.
