“Using vulnerability is not the same thing as being vulnerable; it’s the opposite – it’s armor.”  -Brene Brown Let me know if this resonates with you. Social media has become a complex place of beautiful connection and dark patterns of psychological manipulation. How we choose to show up and share ultimately dances the line between the two but with some clarity on our intentions, we can connect and add value in a more meaningful way. #consciousvibrancy #kindhumansmovement #honestconversations #verticalPresence #speakerseries

There is no salvation in hyper individualism. To learn how to love and care for others, we need community. Our planet and our souls need and crave this kind of love. Tend to your community pour out your kindness, and you will taste happiness. At the end of the day, we are all just reflections of each other, and the mirror has never been more beautiful. #communityfirst #climbingphotography #climbingportrait #facesoftheoutdoors #rei #accessfund #americanalpine #cruxingincolor #weareone #consciousvibrancy @thenorthface_climb @mountainhardwear @patagonia_climb

Tahiti’s been on my mind lately. The kind of place that sneaks up on you after you’ve left. Dreamy warm water, slow mornings, swimming around heavy surf snapping photos.

From the journal: This light lingers, like it is second guessing the goodbye. Granite ridges fall into shadow. Sky holding that last thin line of fire, like its the only thing holding the dark back. Then the air cools just enough to remind you you're alive. Wind moves through the trees like a voice you almost recognize. You stand there without meaning to stay this long, watching something end thats been ending forever. In that moment it feels like the world is exhaling and you now feel small enough to finally hear it.

Throwback to the first time I shot in the water with my friends. No idea what I was doing, as I never shot with camera housing or in a busy surf lineup. @the_dommylama

Half my life has already happened. There are moments I look back on and wish I had been a little more aware, or a little more patient. But somehow it all played out the way it was supposed to. The lessons and the mistakes, the people who crossed my path, all of it adding texture and beauty to a life that was never meant to look perfect anyway. I’ve spent most of it behind a camera, trying to hold on to the small moments. What a privilege it’s been to witness it all and share a few frames along the way.

Heard this song drift through the algorithm noise and it made me stop for a second. Think about amazing friends in my orbit doing wildly cool, wildly heartfelt things. The ones building, creating, risking, dreaming out loud. I’m lucky to call them friends. Constantly inspired by the way they move through the world.
