The 13th annual International King Kong Grip Challenge is coming up in October. It's the world's largest grip sport contest, with venues in close to a dozen countries around the globe. I finally managed to lift the 172-lb Inch dumbbell with a thumbless grip. This one was a long time coming. July has been a great training month for me.
First time getting a full lift with a York fat man blob. It took me way longer to manage this feat than I wanted, but I got there. Inch dumbbells have always come easy to me — blobs not so much.
I’m so proud of the five team Ottawa members who competed at the World Armlifting Championships in Las Vegas this weekend! Everyone had amazing performances! In total we won four gold medals, two silvers, and a bronze! We are THE team to beat!
