Today is a surreal day. I open a Broadway show @beachesthemusical and couldn’t be more excited, except for the fact that today is the day @alisonjantz and I got married, many, many years ago. Among the numerous things in my life I am thankful for, Alison is top of the list. I love her, our relationship and the life we’ve built together. The idea that these two amazing events are happening on the same day gives me joy! 📸 @jontaylorphoto 💄 @kaleywerebeauty
There’s something about a marquee moment that never gets old for me. 🎭
So today, during his lunch break, I dragged Eric to “the beach” (aka the Majestic Theatre) and ran around with my camera.
Maybe it’s a little cheesy. But someday we’ll probably be really glad we have it.

It’s amazing what happens when you allow your identity to evolve.
Getting to see @eric.coles grow since his last show on Broadway has been one of the great privileges of my life. In the years since, he’s written several plays, developed a new musical, worked across the country, and stepped into film — expanding not just his résumé, but his voice.
It was never about “getting back.” It was about growing into the fullest expression of who he is — and having the courage to share that light.
2025 was filled with many gems - highlight reel:
January - @alisonjantz and I started a company @flexcreativesofficial 👨💼
February - coaching with the immensely talented Eric Huffman an audition drop-in class we developed 🎹
March - back at Meadow Brook Theatre for my second year in a row to work on rat pack lounge 🐀
April - saw lots of show, including dead outlaw ☠️
May - recoded a podcast musical 🎤
June - (ashamed to admit) attended my first Broadway bares - the late showing 🏳️🌈
July - worked on my videography skills and filmed some dance classes 🎥
August - got to play a dream role, Nick Bottom, in Something Rotten @musictheatrewichita 🍅
September - started an MFA program with the 👨🎓
October - got an amazing group of people together to read through my first play “The Serpent of Seneca Lake” 🐍
November - got another groups of amazing people together to read and sing through of my musical I finished a first pass at in 2024 - rewrites underway! ✍️ & filmed an episode of Law and Order SVU 🎬
December - attending many Christmas parties and say a bunch of humans I love and am grateful for! 🎉
