It's kinda hilarious that @jdubz227 and I went from a VERY aggressive Black Metal bar to a high end cocktail lounge with velvet walls and wood paneling, serving max presentation cocktails from curated spirits. I mean, they applied edible perfume. The difference was WILD!!
I have traveled far and wide, and I can safely say that this is easily one of the most legit METAL bars I've ever found. If you like your rock/metal bars on the heavier side (Black/Death), this is the spot. They will definitely allow all your metal requests to play on the video screen, but the heavier stuff is what carries the most weight. 12/10 Rock/Metal bar. The first stop on our night out in the chic party neighborhood of Itaewon, Seoul, brought us to an absolute winner, Southside Parlor. Our night kicked off by stepping into the stylish and upbeat cocktail lounge that was totally energetic. Some unexpected but greatly appreciated and always welcoming, Texas hospitality greated us in Korean form. Yes, this bar is a little slice of the Lone Star State set in the nightlife scene of Seoul.
