Hundreds gathered last night at Eretz in Tarzana with the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles to celebrate Israel’s 78th birthday. While too many in this city tear Israel down, the Valley stands with Israel proudly and without apology.
Speaking at Eretz this weekend meant a lot to me.
As an Israeli born American running for Congress, addressing a large Persian Jewish audience in Los Angeles at a moment like this carried real weight. This was not just another campaign stop. It was personal.
In that room were people whose families understand exactly what it means to live under the shadow of the Iranian regime, and exactly why Jewish strength, American strength, and standing with Israel are not abstract ideas.
Thank you to Eretz for the warm welcome and to everyone who came, listened, and leaned in.
