During the road trip that I proposed to Judy, I was offered a job to run a tech company based in Washington, DC. What a life-changing week that was! I took the offer, and had a few months of downtime before uprooting my life and moving to the US in January. After 4 years of grinding on my startup, I really needed the time off and I got the chance to spend it with my friends and family. Judy surprised me by coordinating for my whole family to fly to Vancouver. It was the first time my dad and his girlfriend had been to the west coast and they were astonished. DC is really cool, but there’s something about Vancouver that will always feel like home. Idk, maybe the mountains or the ocean. Probably the people. Miss you guys
