“young, transsexual, alive” is a short film illustrating a poetry piece which portrays the many facets of being a young transsexual. Topics such as love, creation, self reflection, and grappling with identity are depicted through artistic, personal anecdotes that narratively tie together with themes of religion and worship. Different aspects of trans intimacy and love are emphasized through cinematography work showcasing a cast made up entirely of young trans individuals.
Directed by Miles St. John
