The pattern was tested by 7 amazing crocheters in all possible sizes from all possible yarns. The teeniest is just 2.5 cm tall and the biggest looks at least 20 cm (or may be even more)

Originally meant for a spooky Halloween release, time had other plans! However, thanks to the amazing effort of 7 dedicated testers from our crochet community, this enchanting mushroom pattern is now ready to flourish.
A big shoutout and thanks to those testers who tirelessly crocheted their way through, uncovering those sneaky pattern mistakes and helping shape this creation into something truly special.

#Amigurumay2026day16 Weekend WIP
This diamond is inspired by my Sims Plumbob. After I refined the โขtwisted blanket stitch for edges (here facet junctions) I try to make an emoji gem. The prototype (the simple 8-cut diamond doesn't look impressive but it taught me some things: the "pavilion" was too long, more facets are better than less; as well as the finer, made from lace yarn, second 16/8 diamond taught me that there is no need to go for more stitch counting, the bigger the facets are the more they get inflated and rounded, which must be avoided. I think I have to make at least 4 more to check my theories. ๐๐ฅผ๐

I wish somebody (because I will hardly ever have enough time to learn a new craft from scratch) could try to make quilted polygons and then assemble them according to my diagram, so we would see if one pattern fits two crafts at once, or even more.

Cosmos flower are from YouTube "gonkuicrochet" tutorial. I had made one flower before and was looking forward to make more in bright orange, because orange cosmos are my favorite. But I forgot how modest they look in small quantities that's why I arranged my own small collage imitating their abundance or a postcard. ๐คญ Much better I suppose.
