Spring at The Hill in Athens, Georgia⌠and the azaleas showed up right on cue đ¸
Come with me behind the scenes of this March 28 weddingâstarting with what I lovingly call the âcake tree.â Not your traditional cake table⌠we designed a full, elevated arrangement in the tree itself, with the cake nestled just in front. It created such a momentâlayered, unexpected, and full of movement.
As you enter the tent, youâre greeted with soft, garden-style florals that set the tone immediately. From there, we played with height intentionallyâsome arrangements reaching up, others kept low and intimate. That balance is everything in a tent⌠it lets your eye travel, creates flow, and makes the entire space feel alive.
And the blooms⌠dreamy spring peonies, delicate textures, and that effortless garden feel we love so much.

Jefferson High School Masquerade Prom at Athens Cotton Press â¨âwhere the entrance set the tone for everything to come. As guests stepped into the ballroom, serpentine tables lined with florals and candlelight guided them forward, pulling them into the experience. Overhead, a statement chandelier layered with disco balls cast the perfect glow onto a classic black-and-white dance floor. And anchoring the room? A lush boxwood hedge wall with masquerade accents on stageâequal parts drama and elegance.

I know I wonât stop talking about spring weddings, but I donât think I need to either. The light is always incredible, itâs not unbearably hot, and everything just feels a little more alive.
Patrick and Laurenâs day was the sweetest. A morning with the girls, an afternoon with two people in love, a chic poolside cocktail hour and dancing all night with their people. It was perfect. Cheers to you Lauren & Patrick!
