It’s Giving Tuesday!
Did you know that época is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization? It’s true! Our mission is to increase the visibility and representation of BIPOC actors in the state of Utah.
As part of this endeavor we have offered acting classes, trainings, and resources at a decreased and affordable price. We have also awarded several full ride and partial tuitions to many of our students.
Starting in 2025, to make further progress, we hope to offer trainings and education to production companies and decision makers in the Utah film scene, helping them understand the importance and necessity of diversity in the projects they produce.
This Giving Tuesday, your contributions will help us reach more people, spread awareness, and provide acting scholarships to future época students. Help us make a positive change as we seek to increase diverse representation in Utah’s film and stage productions.

Our improv intensive was a hit! It was so cool seeing everyone learn and grow so much in just a mere 7 hours. So many fun characters and scenes! The best parts were the humanizing moments and heartfelt lessons people experienced. We loved connecting with each other and to our storytelling roots!
