Taking a break from filing tax returns to take a 3 hour course in Employment Tax Controversy!
Why? Because education in tax law is soooo important especially as I further my skill to best represent my clients when it comes to tax problems. I truly love what I do.

Today I had to be mom, wife, tax pro, consultant, doctor and uber driver lol
But when I say I am grateful! I mean it.
The baby girl was sick and I was able to immediately take her to urgent care. No having to get permission from anyone or ensure something was done first. Being my own boss is such a blessing because I get to take care of my family! I’m so blessed.
The day isn’t over yet and there is still more to do but ya girl is getting it done! 🙏🏾💕🤏🏾

Yesterday I had the honor of speaking on a panel at my alma mater UIC for Black History Month with student org BSIB (Black Students in Business). Can I just say how dope it is to be living in your purpose?!!! Along with the other amazing panelists, I shared my experience in college, afterwards and becoming an entrepreneur. The good, the bad and the ugly. We laughed, we got serious but most importantly, we connected. I truly love showing up for us and being unapologetically me! Luckily I will also be back next week at UIC to host a prep workshop for their business pitch competition that is coming up. Whewww how blessed can you be?? I need a new word for grateful 🙏🏾🤏🏾
