Three cheers for the first cohort of Global Scholars! ๐๐
The program's inaugural class was celebrated at a reception at President Maud S. Mandel's house this week before they graduate next month. Over three years, the students took Winter Study travel courses, fulfilled foreign language requirements and participated in summer internships and independent study projects with the support of faculty and alumni mentors. They will each receive a Global Scholars certificate at graduation.
This is also the first year that the Global Scholars program has a full roster, with three total cohorts across the sophomore, junior and senior classes (second photo). ๐
