The story I'm telling with this song is not mine, it’s the stories my sisters tell me, it’s the stories women are scared to tell but live through every day. And we’re all part of it. The song is personal to me because I’m deeply concerned and offended by the stories I take the time to really listen to.

This week was sexual harassment awareness day. Women STILL encounter acts of harassment by men EVERY SINGLE DAY. It completely breaks my heart how much it affects my friends, my sister, every woman around us.
It shouldn't be up to women alone to stand up and bring attention to this massive issue! That is why I’m releasing this song.
I’ve discussed it repeatedly with my female friends, and this week we shot the upcoming music video TOGETHER!
