We thought we would share some of the fun facts and stats shared during the CAPTURE masterclass on Monday, the scale of what happens behind the scenes in production is genuinely remarkable!
It’s easy to focus on what we see on screen, but these numbers are a powerful reminder of the sheer volume of data, organisation and precision required to make it all possible.
Behind every production is a workflow working just as hard!

Yesterday evening, we had the pleasure of welcoming the CAPTURE team, Elliot and Phoebe, who gave us an amazing masterclass to our junior staff on what they do and how their workflows support major productions like Squid Game, The Traitors and At Home with the Furys.
CAPTURE is our specialist onset workflow division, focused on solving the challenges of recording and managing media during production. They bring together media management expertise, editing knowledge and advanced recording tech directly to set, helping teams work more efficiently wherever they’re filming.
It was really interesting to see how much coordination and detail goes into the behind-the-scenes side of these productions, and how important strong workflows are to keeping everything running smoothly.
And of course there was pizza too🍕

Great to be back at Liverpool John Moores University with the Envy Academy, joining Claire Newton, So Papadopoulos, Dan Mucklow and former student Alex Fletcher for a panel with second-year students.
We shared career journeys, industry insights and practical advice with an engaged group, followed by the chance to meet students across editing, producing and screenwriting, discussing what we look for in emerging talent, particularly the importance of soft skills.
The day continued with an Envy Academy session covering work experience opportunities, technical pathways and progression at Envy, alongside a lively Q&A.
A fantastic day and encouraging to see so much enthusiasm and potential coming through.
