نظّمت هيئة البيئة – أبوظبي، بالتعاون مع مجالس أبوظبي بمكتب شؤون المواطنين والمجتمع في ديوان الرئاسة وهيئة أبوظبي للزراعة والسلامة الغذائية، جلسات توعوية في مجلسي رماح والوقن بمدينة العين، مسلطةً الضوء على أهمية الممارسات المستدامة للحفاظ على البيئة ودعم قطاع الثروة الحيوانية.
وشهدت الجلسات تفاعلاً مع ملاك ومربي الإبل حول أهمية الرعي المسؤول لضمان حماية البيئة، وذلك في إطار التزام أبوظبي بالاستدامة وبناء مستقبل مزدهر.

EAD, in partnership with Abu Dhabi Majalis at Citizen and Community Affairs Department in the Presidential Court and ADFSA, held awareness sessions at Remaah and Al Waqn Majalis in Al Ain on the 2026 grazing season, highlighting sustainable practices to protect natural pastures and support the livestock sector.
The sessions engaged camel owners and herders on responsible grazing to preserve the environment, as part of Abu Dhabi's wider commitment to sustainability and building a thriving future.

في اليوم العالمي للطيور المهاجرة، نحتفي بأولى رحلات صغار العقاب النساري (الدمي) من أبوظبي عبر الخليج.
حلق أكثر من 80 فرخاً من عقاب النساري، وقد رصد 10 منها في أرجاء دولة الإمارات وسلطنة عُمان ودولة قطر. حلق فرخ عقاب نساري لمسافة تقارب 250 كم نحو الداخل وصولاً إلى مدينة العين، وهي حركة انتقال غير معتادة.

On World Migratory Bird Day, we’re celebrating the first journeys of young ospreys from Abu Dhabi, out across the region and the Gulf!
More than 80 have been ringed, and 10 have already been spotted across the UAE, Oman and Qatar. One ringed juvenile Osprey flew around 250 km inland to Al Ain, an unusual dispersal movement.

The sessions, which targeted camel owners and breeders, highlighted the latest seasonal regulations and the importance of implementing sustainable grazing practices to support livestock and protect the environment in the emirate of Abu Dhabi.
