Last night felt like an absolute dream 🌸✨ We were so honoured to stand among such spectacular, inspiring Muslim women. For three years, we’ve poured our hearts into building a space for mums, while juggling motherhood and everything life throws at us. To finally be recognised and awarded for our work on social media was truly incredible. We’re still buzzing! A huge thank you to everyone who voted for us, to our listeners, supporters, and friends. We appreciate you more than you know. A special shoutout to the amazing team at @muslimwomenawards for creating this space and elevating it year after year. And to the powerhouse duo @sumo_suada and @deana.soni thank you for bringing the vibes and the magic! MUA: @iwmartistry We’re not going anywhere. We’ll continue showing up for the mum community that sits so close to our hearts and we can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store for Entry Level Mums ✨ Congrats to all the finalists, nominees and winners 🫶🏽

Trigger warning: This episode/reel contains discussion of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). In our most recent episode, one of our listeners bravely shared her experience of undergoing FGM at just 5 years old, and how it has continued to impact her in adulthood and motherhood. We’re so grateful to everyone who trusts us with their stories and hope this helps others feel less alone, more informed, and more supported. 🤍 #fgmawareness #femalegenitalmutilation

New Episode at 7pm 🔔 We’re back with a Mum Chat and had an honest conversation about feeling burnt out lately. 🥲 We also read two emails from listeners 📧 with one of them being a very heavy topic: FGM. Please listen to this episode with care and use the chapters to avoid if this topic is too triggering for you. 🤍 Will be available on YouTube, Spotify & Apple Podcasts 🎧

We’re taking part in Five X More Awareness Week (20th–26th April) I wanted to share something quite personal. I’m donating blood as someone with the 0+ RO subtype, which is a rare blood subtype that is only used for transfusions for people living with sickle cell. Sickle cell affects a lot of Black families and having well matched blood can genuinely make a huge difference for those in crisis and to help them get back to feeling their best. This year’s theme is “Leading with solutions NOT trauma” and this is something I can do that might help someone in a critical moment. A few important facts from NHS Blood and Transplant: Only 3% of regular donors have the Ro subtype 47% of people from Black heritage decent have the Ro subtype and if you don’t know what yours is, I urge you to find out because the demand for Ro blood is increasing every year If you are from a Black or mixed Black heritage background, your donation is especially needed. There is a real shortage of donors who match the blood types most commonly needed for sickle cell patients, and this is one of the simplest but most powerful ways we can help close that gap. If you’ve ever thought about donating, this is your sign. You could genuinely be the reason someone lives and gets the care they need during a crisis. Proud to support this work with Five X More and stand with families who continue pushing for better outcomes and better care. #FiveXMore #AwarenessWeek #SickleCellAwareness #GiveBlood #LeadingWithSolutions

Talking a bit about Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) with Marsha from Black SEN Mamas and what it can actually look like day to day. For many neurodivergent children it’s not just “being difficult” or avoiding tasks. It’s often a nervous system response to feeling pressured, even by small or everyday demands. If you know, you know. And if you don’t, I hope this helps build a bit more understanding and compassion around it. Would love to hear if this resonates with anyone else! Full episode can be found on YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts 🫶🏽

New episode dropping at 8pm 🔔 This week’s episode is a powerful one. It gets deep, it gets emotional, and you might want to keep some tissues nearby. We’re joined by Marsha, the incredible founder of Black SEN Mamas, for a conversation that really holds space for SEND parents and their experiences. In this clip, Marsha opens up about her struggles with neurodiversity during university, and how difficult things felt at the time. Looking back, she shares how much could have changed if someone had recognised the signs earlier and offered the right support. If you know someone who would benefit from this, please share it with them. And if you’re a SEND mama, make sure to follow her page to stay connected and supported! #audhdwoman autismandadhd autismandadhdmom dissertationwriting
