Two years ago yesterday I moved to Sacramento.
I am besides myself. I have so much love for 26 year old me, I have so much love for myself and my life here.
And forever grateful for my original Sac Roomie that made me feel right at home since day one @_cassandraxox 💞

It is especially so humbling to be one among many past and present AAPI, Black, and Latino Changemakers that I personally admire.
Es un honor, no solo el reconocimiento, pero el privilegio de apoyar a la comunidad Latina de Sacramento los últimos cuatro años.
Es mi deber seguir adelante, seguir echándole ganas a mi carrera y los estudios.
And it is my duty to continue being soft, silly, and safe.
Also, in my early 20s, I told my dad that I would not be able to help take care of them in their old age. I had no ambition then, and did not foresee myself ever becoming a dependable adult.
I am confident now, that I am on my way to be the daughter my parents and my baby sisters could depend on.
I hope this inspires anyone that feels like they have no future. If you feel this way, I’m here for you.

My heart is so full! ❤️🩹
1- it is so sweet to be recognized as “Community Impact Runner” of the year.
I have really given Sacramento’s running community the best I have to offer since summer 2021.
Serving and supporting at different capacities has shaped me into the woman I am today.
I truly do not know where I would be without the support and hype from @coach.sean.g
2- One of the highlights of my journey occurred last summer. When I saw an opportunity to bridge my running network to my job at City Hall. Together with @mbprunner , we were able to provide over 30 pairs of shoes for displaced asylum seekers.
And I pray the universe uses us again.
📸: Thank you @urbaann94 for capturing photos of me on such a special evening 🙏🏽
6 AM Group Training
The trade off was I make her stronger, she tries to teach me how to dance.
Come join us! We are a strength and conditioning program. We do traditional weightlifting, power & plyometrics, kickboxing and athletic conditioning. Monday - Friday. 6am - 12pm - 5pm
Decided to try something new today! 👡
Can def bike in these “high heels” ✅
Not sure about walking ❌🤷🏻♀️
This year, one of my goals was to have more fun with what I wear. Today I decided to wear these little shoes. I don’t think they’re “me” but I’m excited to experiment.
Bike 🤝🏼 Bus
I wanted to ride my bike back home but I was soooo tired. So I spontaneously decided to hop on the bus!
Like yeah, riding the bus is so easy, chill, and cheap.
Please consider taking the bus soon! 🩵🩵🩵🩵
Being car centric = immediately relying on expensive riders share apps when your car is not available. Start taking public transit, get comfy with it, then when you travel or your car breaks down, you’ll know how to get around. Be active-transit minded. 🚃
Laundromats are cool
💚 fold everything there, no piles of wrinkled laundry on the sofa
💚 I feel closer to humanity. The laundromat is full of people from different backgrounds….I don’t have the words for this yet, but I know that these are valuable experiences for my soul
💚 Last year I purchased my first washer and dryer. I was so proud of myself. Samsung smart devices. Moving meant having to sell them. It was sad to let go of something I felt so proud to own. But I value the human interactions more. I would not trade this.
💚 I believe that opting for convenience, steals the opportunity of being part of a human mycelium ecosystem
