Ancient Spirit steht als Erinnerung daran, was diese Szene einst war und für einige von uns immer noch ist.
Eine Zeit, in der Hingabe, Leidenschaft und Überzeugung mehr zählten als Reichweite oder Zahlen.
Es war mir eine Ehre, an dieser finalen Ausgabe zum 30-jährigen Bestehen mitzuwirken. In diesem Interview habe ich mich dazu entschieden, offen über bestimmte Kapitel der Geschichte von ENTHRONED sowie über prägende Momente dieser vergangenen Jahrzehnte zu sprechen, Dinge, die ich zuvor nie thematisiert habe.
Nicht aus Nostalgie, sondern aus Klarheit und für jene, die Substanz noch immer über Lärm stellen.
Respekt an all jene, die diesen Geist aufgebaut, getragen und am Leben erhalten haben.
( English) Some things are worth preserving... Ancient Spirit stands as a reminder of what this scene once was and, for some of us, still is.
A time when dedication, passion and conviction mattered more than exposure or numbers.
It was an honour to take part in this final issue marking 30 years of existence. In this interview, I chose to speak openly on certain chapters of ENTHRONED’s history and on moments that have shaped these past decades things I have not addressed before.
Not for the sake of nostalgia, but for clarity, and for those who still value substance over noise.
Respect to those who built, carried and kept this spirit alive.

yet it is never easy to see one of our own depart before us.
Barth was one of those individuals who helped shape the underground, a true embodiment of what it stands for: no filters, loyalty, dedication, honesty… and fuck the rest.
We honor his memory and send our deepest respects to his family and his coven.
