Fiji, thriving, growing, expanding. And it’ll do the same to you if you engage it. We are descendants of Fungi, and this kinship can be felt through simply listening, watching, FEELING what comes through in the dialog. Across time and distance these creatures of consciousness beckon you to enter into communication and communion wherever you are

Fiji, matured fruit ready for harvest. The veil, seen here almost completely torn from the underside of the cap, exposes the gills in preparation for releasing spores. If the cultivator allowed this fruit (mushroom) to continue to grow, the cap would open, spreading the gills out, and these gills would waft forth a fine mist of purple brown spores. Each single spore is male or female, and they seek their mate, which becomes the network web of white mycelium. And a new revolution begins!
The wheel turns.

What IS a mushroom? Where do they come from? Do mushrooms grow on metaphorical trees? Mushrooms are not plants, which immediately makes them odd, alien, and “other”. Get familiar with these creatures that comprise their own kingdom of Nature
Baby Fijians basking at the base of this protective Black Tourmaline stone. This jet colored stone swallows negative energies, encouraging free growth toward the clear and positive. There is no ‘positive vibes only’, as much as I want it to be so. Clearing out negativity requires recognition of it as a necessary element, a reference point, or boundary. Acknowledging the full spectrum of energy allows for choice of state and environment, of moving in a direction of joy, love, abundance.
Whether you “believe” in crystals or not, I view them as powerful symbols, reminders of particular traits that foster higher states of being. Picking up your phone is a symbolic act…picking up and embracing an ancient crystal artifact is also a symbolic engagement, but one that takes you somewhere higher. Surround yourself with what you want to be

The Many Faces of Fungi: the variances in shape, size, proportion, texture…it all makes me wonder what’s behind it. Even with standard conditions, the Fungi will become its own unique creation, reaching high, staying low, taking on a bulbous shape or arrow-like. No matter what you learn about the science of mushrooms, they continue to defy explanation. The ART is within them, and the artist remains hidden…so I stand by, witnessing and being thankful for the beauty, the lessons, the mystery

SETTING: environment matters. Where you are physically affects how you feel
psychologically, physically and energetically. Being able to relax, lay on the ground or soft grass, comfortable pillows, being able to stretch out or walk around in an outdoor space…the possibilities are endless with what environments you can create. The “purist” way is eyeshades on and minimal noise, if any, for your session.
This day was spent sitting on a bench and simply observing, listening, smelling, feeling all that was available. Breathing deep. Smiling at people passing by. Listening to sound of rustling vine leaves. Refreshed by the clean cool breeze wafting through the herbs and late summer blooms. The feeling of letting go of time and place…being content with this moment is something valuable, something I won’t forget. And this is one big thing: the experience of a journey is valuable, and worth remembering.
You will be confronted…you will feel the freedom and joy…you might just go beyond it all. Ready…SET…and go somewhere

Ride the Waves: these future Hawaiians will be debuting in November. Bigtime. Moving them from one stage to another is an exciting and well timed affair…ensuring that at every stage they are healthy, happy, thriving…the difference is felt. Big waves. Much Mana flows through these waters, cultivated through the millennia and across the universe to land on the shores of bigger realities and experiences.

Taking proper care of anything requires checking in regularly…observation, taking time to really listen and feel what’s happening with something precious is essential.
Mycology has taught me many valuable lessons, and everyday I’m thankful for these cosmic friends. Every interaction is an invitation to delve deeper into partnership, expanding perspective beyond just my own, and the PLAY of it all. So thank you my lovelies (in this case, Brazilians)

Fresh Brazilians, ready for a dehydrator sesh! The fruiting body, once separated from its mother mycelium tends to wilt and become spongy…little TMI maybe. Getting them into the next phase is altogether paramount, in this case, dehydration. This keeps them at peak condition. As I say: I serve the Mushroom.
