Meet our wonderful actors and dancers bringing Soldiersā Tales to life!
Theodore is a singer, poet, artist and viol player from Lewisham. He studies at the Royal Academy of Music with John Lattimore, Chad Vindin, and Lucine Musaelian, and previously read music at New College, Oxford.
As a soloist, Theodore was recently a finalist in the Ashburnham English Song Competition with his duo partner Siyuan Xu, and performed Rossiniās Petite Messe Solenelle with English Arts Chorale. He also makes appearances on stage, creating the role of The Engineer in Marcello Palazzoās opera Mount Herzog at the 2024 TĆŖte Ć TĆŖte opera festival. Theodore works with groups including St Martinās Voices, Tenebrae, and Fount & Origin, with whom he recently performed at the Sastamala Gregoriana early music festival in Finland. He can also be found playing the viol with the Dukeās Consort.
Theodore also works with the performance art group A Feast for Ears, who performed recently at the Staffordshire Street gallery in Peckham, and his viol consort This Mortal Round performed alongside Sir Mark Rylance at The Mount Without in Bristol last summer. His art has recently been included in an edition of the literary magazine The Maker, and he is currently writing poetry with a view to being published.
Phoebe is an Australian soprano, currently undertaking a Master of Music Performance at the Royal Academy of Music, under the tutelage of Raymond Connell. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Philosophy and English Literature) and Music (Performance) from the University of Melbourne. In July, Phoebe travelled to Berlin through Berlin Opera Academyās Elisavet Chatzivasileiou Memorial Scholarship, performing the role of Venere in LāIncoronazione di Poppea and understudying the role of Pamina in Die Zauberflƶte. In Australia, Phoebe was a scholar with Opera Scholars Australia and chorister with the Choir of Trinity College.

Meet the team bringing Ensemble Iris: Soldiersā Tales to life!
Agatha Parkin is a scholar at the Royal Academy of Music, where she currently studies with Sini Simonen. For eight years from the age of twelve, she was a student of Rodney Friend. She also studies viola, with Martin Outram. Agatha has participated in orchestral projects under Sir Mark Elder, Laurence Power, Roderick Cox and Barbara Hannigan; as well as travelling to Madrid to work for a week with the orchestra of the Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia, as part of the Sir Elton John Global Exchange Programme. Agatha came to love chamber playing at a young age and has co-founded a piano trio and a horn trio at the Academy, both of which have given lunchtime recitals there. She has also given well-received recital and chamber performances at other venues in London and further afield.
Franklin Onyeso is a composer based in London. His pieces have been performed by a wide variety of ensembles, including the RNCM Session Orchestra, City of London Symphonic Winds and the London Sinfonietta. He held the Frequencies New Music Residency 2023 with Music for Youth and he is currently composer-in-residence with Regent Brass. In 2024, he held the composer-in-residence post with the Berkshire Chamber Music Festival and returned as the festivalās composer-in-residence for the 2025 season. His works have been played across the UK in venues including the Royal Albert Hall, the CBSO Centre, and Westminster Abbey. Franklin is grateful to hold the Sony Music UK Scholarship at the Royal Academy of Music, where he studies composition with Philip Cashian.
