Meet the Storytellers Film Lab Cohort III Jury: Enos Olik @enosolik Enos Olik is a cinematographer, filmmaker, and educator whose work has shaped visual storytelling across East Africa for over a decade. He began his career in music videos, gaining early recognition for directing projects like Nishike by Sauti Sol, before expanding into film, television, and commercial work. His portfolio spans acclaimed titles including Supa Modo, 40 Sticks, Crime and Justice, Anyango and the Ogre, and Sky Girls PAA, where he has worked across cinematography, directing, and executive production. His work is defined by strong visual language, attention to detail, and an ability to build atmosphere that supports story. Enos holds a master’s in cinematography from the Global Cinematography Institute in Los Angeles and has further training in colour grading from Colour Training Burbank. His technical grounding and creative approach position him as a key voice in delivering work that meets international standards while staying rooted in African stories. Beyond production, he continues to invest in the next generation through mentorship and training, working with programs such as Canon RoadShow and Safaricom Blaze. He joins the Storytellers Film Lab Cohort III jury, bringing a sharp eye for visual storytelling, craft, and execution as he engages with the films.

Behind the scenes seting up our main lighting rig for the @kibaoke vibe ya genmore campaign with @boutrossgram_ We wanted to have a large source of soft light to illuminate the whole studio from the top and ended up creating a large overhead softbox which included a combination of @aputure.lighting Nova P300's and P600's rigged inside the box and all wirelessly controlled by an ipad on the @sidus.link app. It was challenging setting up, but fun and worth it at the end Big love again to the immense talented crew for making the vision come to life.
