Well, we did it - with your tremendous help and support, so I didn’t even have to sell my kidneys, for which I am grateful.
In just 36 hours you turned an abysmally hopeless situation into a financially secure one. This goes to show that what we have here is not just a bunch of scattered music enjoyers, but a true community of people ready to assemble for a common goal - whether it be fighting censorship imposed by religious fanatics or supporting and uplifting one of our own.
The shows in Yerevan and Tbilisi are now behind us, and both were a massive success in every regard. We are glad to have been able to secure such an intricate line-up of artists, with each band contributing something unique to these events, and of course headlined by the great Shape of Despair.
Hearty thanks to these bands and everyone involved in the production of the shows - the venues and their crews, as well as our friends, supporters, and contributors.
Thanks to you, Zhesht Events can continue doing what we have been doing for the last 18 years without setbacks - bringing great international artists to the region.
Pictures from the shows coming soon and see you in a couple of months for Obscura / DVRK!
