Planting day on site for William Street Park!
Great to have the opportunity to work alongside the team at @civilisedconstruction last week to place the 900 plants and 30 native species selected for the Perennial movement-inspired design by Project Landscape Architect @flem_ming
We’re looking forward to seeing planting establish and thrive over the coming months as an integral part of @stonningtoncitycouncils open space network.
Many thanks @civilisedconstruction Prestige Plants, @buffalorivernursery and @kuranganativenursery for helping bring this space to life for the South Yarra community.

900 plants and 30 vibrant flowering and ornamental native species placed at William Street Park!
The planting design, developed by Project Landscape Architect @flem_ming for @stonningtoncitycouncil has been inspired by the New Perennial movement. Smaller groups, or 'drifts' of plants, create a dynamic and textural effect, with clusters of selected species repeated throughout.
Species include Tall kangaroo paw Anigozanthos flavidus ‘ssp.’, Xerochrysum ‘Dargan Hill Monarch’, Native Violet (Viola hederacea), lemon beauty-heads (Calocephalus lacteus) and Alpine Daisy-Bush (Olearia Phlogopappa).
This naturalistic approach blurs the line between garden and nature, ensuring William Street Park thrives throughout all seasons, benefitting the South Yarra community and local biodiversity.
Thank you to the team at @civilisedconstruction and suppliers Prestige Plants, @buffalorivernursery and @kuranganativenursery

Following the devastating impact of the 2019–2020 bushfires and the challenges of COVID-19, regional communities like Dinner Plain are ensuring future generations can experience the unique terrain of the Victorian High Country.
We were thrilled to have the opportunity to see Enlocus’ works constructed. From upgraded pathways and durable, all-weather shelters, each intervention has been designed to reconnect visitors and locals to this iconic alpine village setting.

We’re delighted to announce The Roundtable was the recipient of the @paysage_topscape CityScape Award for Urban Furniture at the Triennale di Milano, on June 20th.
Congratulations to collaborators @common.adr , and sincere thanks to the jury for this recognition.
Motivation/Citation: “The Roundtable reimagines urban conviviality through a simple yet powerful gesture: a planted circular table, symbolizing sharing and dialogue. Set in an underused urban area, the project transforms public space into an inclusive, multisensory place that fosters connections through nature, sociality, and collective memory. A virtuous example of sustainable and tactical design, temporary yet impactful, it demonstrates how even small-scale interventions can regenerate the city.”

In the last instalment of our studio team profiles, we’re delighted to welcome Landscape Architect Holly Williams.
Holly is an RMIT graduate, passionate about the intersection of landscape, anthropology, and social systems. Her design approach is founded in research, exploring how spaces respond to movement, memory, and community use.
With hands-on experience in site analysis and design development, Holly champions community-driven, gender-sensitive design outcomes. She’s skilled in both digital and hand-drawn representation, and is delving deeper into parametric design and technical detailing.
Holly’s keen eye for design extends to other mediums, where she enjoys printmaking and watercolour painting in her spare time.

In the next instalment of our studio team profiles, we’re delighted to introduce Graduate of Architecture, Isabella Cohen.
Isabella’s background in architecture has sparked a deep passion for exploring the spaces between buildings — the often-overlooked yet vital places where everyday life unfolds. This curiosity led her naturally to the field of landscape architecture, where she focuses on designing meaningful, site-specific public and civic spaces that give back to the community and enrich the human experience.
Isabella is a keen hiker, home gardener, and is kept busy by her mischievous pup Montgomery.

Mount Kosciuszko and Dargals Trail to Tooma River, through stunning alpine heaths, feldmarks and alpine bogs. Starting from 2100 meters at Rawsons Pass, at Australia’s highest amenities.
Hampton’s beloved coastline is a defining element of its local identity. Along this iconic foreshore, Hampton Lifesaving Club runs the Starfish Nippers program, creating space for children and teens with disabilities to connect, grow, and have fun in the water.
Enlocus have developed a series of interventions designed promote greater participation, including accessible ramps, safer pathways and additional parking, alongside extensive native coastal revegetation.
The project forms part of Bayside City Council's Foreshore Management Plan, building a coastline that’s inclusive, safe and sustainable.

The revitalisation of Hampton Foreshore’s well-loved playspace forms an important component of Enlocus’ broader design works for Hampton Foreshore Precinct, for Bayside City Council. Each upgrade advocates for greater accessibility, ensuring all members of the community can enjoy its iconic coastline.
With a strong local identity and elements reflective of its beachfront setting, the playspace will encourage exploration and connection, complemented by vibrant and playful shade and seating opportunities for parents and carers.
