This second year has been filled with new learning curves from forming a racing team to competing in a real car racing. Midweek Update: We’re gettin’ there!
Some of you may have seen a glimpse of exciting bits we put on the Lincoln Continental.
Now that we’re entering the final stages, it’s time to give the engine bay that couple bits of magic - aesthetically and functionally. The goal has always been clear: Forms follows Function. And with the help of our friends at @engineplus_3dfactory , those magic became reality — All at once!
As you can see on the footage, a newly crafted airbox, aluminium water tank, fuel inlet, and intake damper are now installed at the Continental.
Each stuff is 100% designed & tailored by @engineplus_3dfactory specifically for this build. Huge kudos to them, the engine bay now looks clean & effortlessly flawless!
We’re proud to say this project is getting closer than ever. Up next: Preparing the Continental for her first proper shakedown right after the Raya holiday.

Meskipun ada generasi teranyar, Land Cruiser 80 Series memiliki pesona tersendiri. Tampilan yang gagah, makin gagah lagi kalau sudah dimodifikasi, salah satunya Toyota Land Cruiser VX-R miliki salah satu punggawa @engineplus_motorsports .

Mengacu ke Australian Style, Land Cruiser berkelir hijau tua ini dibekali dengan bemper depan dari ARB yang desainnya unik melalui adanya frame untuk lampu dan grille. Makin lengkap ditambahkannya sepasang spotlight dari ARB Solis 36, termasuk winch dari Warn.

Di bagian samping dipasang side rails berikut steps-nya untuk proteksi tambahan. Bemper belakangnya juga menggunakan ARB yang desainnya kekar. Tidak ketinggalan bagian detail seperti frame plat nomer menggunakan lansiran @engineplus_3dfactory yang telihat premium.

Selanjutnya ke bagian rodanya sudah diganti, kali ini menggunakan velg Weds Hase Spec II berdiameter 16 inci dengan lebar 8 inci. Velg 5-spoke berkelir hitam tersebut dibalut ban BFGoodrich jenis all-terrain berprofil LT315/75 yang siap diajak overland.

Kalau di luar tampil gagah, untuk interior Toyota Land Cruiser VX-R ini dibuat kalem. Beberapa bagian direstorasi ulang, contohnya lingkar kemudi bawaannya di-retrim, yang membuat interior Land Cruiser 80 ini lebih fresh.

Kemudian kedua jok depan bawaannya dicopot dan digantikan dengan scheel-mann Traveller yang cukup nyaman diduduki dan sudut headrest-nya bisa diatur. Sementara jok tengah tetap menggunakan bawaannya yang berlapis kulit.
.
Pindah ke belakang, joknya dipensiunkan dan difungsikan sebagai bagasi. Karpet dasarnya diganti dengan bahan plat yang didesain oleh @engineplus_3dfactory . Selain itu juga dilokasikan beberapa komponen audio system mengingat pemiliknya hobi mendengarkan musik ketika berkendara.
