Had to work for this one yesterday but man does it feel good to finally get a heat race win at @portcityraceway AND to do it at such a special race, the Donnie Ray Crawford Memorial. A small win for most but a huge win for our team.
We had a very tough season last year especially with my wreck at the shootout but one things for certain, @tmorris2.0 never lost faith in me and never stopped believing in my potential. This sport will knock you down more times than you can count and it’s important to celebrate moments like this. I was able to not only get my first heat win here in Oklahoma but was also able to make the DRC main for the first time and those that know port know, big shows aren’t easy! I have some work to do behind the wheel but believe we are finally on the right track. Every race is a chance to learn and a chance to keep growing. At the end of the day, I’m just grateful for the opportunity to chase this dream.
The outpouring support at the track and online the past 24 hours is truly something I will cherish forever. Thank you to everyone who reached out, it means more than you know. 🫶🏻

Another strong night for the 1st Impressions Racing Team at ThrottleFest.
#88 Chase Saathoff finished on the podium with a hard-fought P3 after one of the wildest starts of the season. Chase grabbed the holeshot on the original start before a first-lap red flag reset the field. On the restart, it was nearly a repeat. But on the final start, Chase settled into the lead group and battled near the front all night before ultimately crossing the line third. A solid points night — but one the team knows could’ve been even more.
#113 Jack Brucks put together one of his strongest rides of the season with an impressive 6th-place finish — the top rookie finisher of the night. Battling with defending champion Tom Drane throughout the main event, Jack continued to show speed and confidence beyond his rookie status.
“I had a lot of fun out there. I just locked onto Tom Drane and followed him through.”
#117 Jett Katarzy made his first career AFT Singles main event in his debut appearance. After going down in turn one on the original start after catching a wet spot low on the track, Jett regrouped and fought back to finish 14th.
“I’m happy, but I know we’re capable of more. I still had a lot of fun and can’t wait to get back to it.”
