Day 2 of life with the BMW R12 G/S from @bmwmotorradca and the mods have already started.
First on the list was a set of @barkbustershandguards Carbon handguards, which look completely ridiculous in the best way possible, along with an @outback_motortek radiator guard for a little added protection.
Nothing too wild yet, just a few smart upgrades before heading out for a rip.
Also, the @engduro DoubleTrak came in super handy for these installs. Easy to use, compact, and ideal when you’re wrenching in a trailer.
Then came the ride, and wow, this bike is smooth. The kind of smooth that makes you want to keep riding long past when you meant to turn around.

The sun is out… let’s go ☀️
I had an epic spot with a wide open ocean view I wanted to show you today…
Except there was one problem: the logging roads were pure hard-packed ice 🧊😬
I gave it my best shot, but in the end I turned around — because losing the front end out there and eating poop is not on today’s itinerary.
Honestly… I really wish I had studs for this. If I do this challenge again next year, I’m 100% having a set on hand.
Tomorrow I’ll have to find a route that stays low and stays coastal 🌊
