Meet the Team Monday: Woohoo! It's Tara's time now! Am in disbelief that it has been 7 years since I started Engaged and its been an incredible wild ride since 2019! Some fun facts about Tara: ⁠ • If you could have a view of anything in the world outside your office window, what would it be? ⁠ Anything nature: forests, mountains and water ⁠ • What's a topic of a 10-minute presentation you could give with zero preparation? ⁠ How to live as a meat-eating vegan! HA yes, I have a crazy allergy to dairy – just cow, and eggs. It’s been a wild ride but I love trying new vegan recipes – I make a mean vegan carrot cake! ⁠ • Aside from your career, what is something you are incredibly proud of? ⁠ Gotta echo Rachel on this one, being the mother of my 2 incredible girls. My little P’s and Q’s keep us on our toes and are our greatest adventure! ⁠ ⁠ • If you had zero obligations and a full 24 hours to yourself, what would that day look like from start to finish? ⁠ Wake up early(ish), have someone cook me an incredible breakfast, go for an epic hike and sit by a lake and have someone cook me an incredible dinner! ⁠ • If you could only listen to one album or watch one movie for the rest of your life, which one would it be? ⁠ Ohh not sure I can choose just one but really anything 80’s music. ⁠ • If you could teleport to any city in the world right now for dinner, where would we find you? ⁠ Maybe not for dinner but back country Maine, but ask me again when we get back from Three Rivers, CA next to Sequoia National Park ⁠ • What is your favorite part of an event day? The moment we fluff the brides dress or straighten the groom’s tie and send them down the aisle. The nervous, excited energy is palpable but it’s just magic in that moment! ⁠• What’s the last thing you binged on Netflix that you’d recommend? ⁠ Not so much Netflix at the moment but HBO/MAX Hacks, SO good! And of course, The Pitt too! Also, down for any good “murder podcast” as the hubs calls them but I am a true crime junky! ⁠• What’s the weirdest thing in your purse or car right now? ⁠ Um I am a mom and event planner SO you never know what you are getting yourself with what I carry around – HA!

Meeting the Team Monday: Rachel⁠ ⁠ Rachel and Tara go way back to 2013! They first met at the Chester County History Center when Rachel was an intern! It was an instant connection that sparked a decade-long friendship and a dream-team partnership. We’ve been "Engaged Teammates" ever since and wouldn't have it any other way! 🥂⁠ ⁠ Some fun facts about Rachel: ⁠ ⁠ • If you could have a view of anything in the world outside your office window, what would it be? ⁠ A rolling green field that goes on for miles ⁠ ⁠ • What's a topic of a 10-minute presentation you could give with zero preparation? ⁠ Grilled cheese - me and my sons current hyper-fixation food ⁠ ⁠ • What’s a skill or hobby you have that almost nobody on this team knows about? ⁠ I can play piano and I'm looking into getting a piano for my home⁠ ⁠ • Aside from your career, what is something you are incredibly proud of? ⁠ Bring the mother of my 2 incredible children⁠ ⁠ • If you had zero obligations and a full 24 hours to yourself, what would that day look like from start to finish? ⁠ Wake up with no alarm (child or alarm clock), walk to a coffee shop with my family, go to a workout class, get lunch and go for a long walk with my 3 best friends, spend some time reading, dinner outside with my husband, dancing, and an early bedtime⁠ ⁠ • If you could only listen to one album or watch one movie for the rest of your life, which one would it be? ⁠ Beyonce - Renaissance ⁠ ⁠ • If you could teleport to any city in the world right now for dinner, where would we find you? ⁠ Quepos, Costa Rica⁠ ⁠ • What is your favorite part of an event day? I can get massive stage fright, but I have won multiple awards over my life, have sung back up on stage a few times, and have been featured on local artists' tracks.⁠ ⁠ • Aside from your career, what is something you’ve done that you are incredibly proud of?⁠ Learning to cook⁠ ⁠ • If you had zero obligations and a full 24 hours to yourself, what would that day look like from start to finish?⁠ I would call my best friend and drive down to the beach at 6 am. Chill in the sand and on the water.
