Sometimes legacy isnât behind usâŠitâs right beside us.
While celebrating 50 years of women at the Air Force Academy, this weekend was filled with pioneers, classmates, hugs, laughter, stories, and the next generation finding their own way.
Grateful for those who came before me who paved the way, and grateful for shared moments that remind us what really gets carried forward.

Friendly reminderâŠ
Even high performers need margin.
Even strong leaders need recovery.
Even the people who âalways have it togetherâ need space to breathe.

This weekend left an imprint!
We came together to celebrate 50 years of women at the Academy, but what Iâll carry forward is how it felt to be in that room.
Hearing from the pioneer generals and leaders, you might expect distance.
But they met us right where we were.
Open, real, and relatable!
There was laughter
There was reflection
And a shared understanding across every class year
Same foundation
Same Long Blue Line
This 99er is grateful đ«Ą
Still taking this weekend in đ«Ą
Celebrating 50 years of women at the Academy and being surrounded by 600+ grads across generations was something I wonât forget
Different paths, same foundation
It wasnât just one moment
It was the conversations, the history, the reconnections, and honoring those who gave everything
Thereâs something special about the Long Blue Line
You feel it when youâre in it
Grateful for those who came before us
And grateful for those carrying it forward
More to come đ
Celebrating 50 years since women first entered the United States Air Force Academy in 1976.
In the decades since, women have served as generals, astronauts, fighter pilots, public servants, scholars, and members of Congress.
Their courage built the path so many of us now have the privilege to walk. We are endlessly grateful to those who came before us and committed to carrying that legacy forward.
Filled with joy leaving this weekend đđșđž
