Asbury Park 2/6/2026: A hard and heavy Friday at the frozen Jersey shore! The night kicked off with
@enforcement_droid and they were perhaps the most wild of the lineup. Some pretty aggressive death grind 🤘 Hell their singer was taking a shower practically on the floor toward the end 😆
@chainedtothedead came up next and delivered a blistering set! This was my 2nd time seeing their death grind and they continue to nail it down 🙌 They wound up as my personal highlight of the evening because the singer gave a shoutout to Macabre at the 2002 AP march metal meltdown! This was wild for me +
@chaseschiefer because we attended as teens, yet here we were 24 years later! 🤣 Next up was the headliner
@themunsens who apparently just moved back to the Long Branch area. I didn’t know what to expect as a virgin listener but I really enjoyed their set! Mostly doom heaviness, but there were elements of death, black, and whimsical psychedelic. This was also my first time
@wildairbeer since the building changed owners. I really enjoyed the private library look and their house PA somehow sounded golden! Hope they can host more death metal events like this at the shore 🤘
