Growing up, I was a very bold child. In secondary school, I participated in a lot of debates and seminars and even represented my school in some.
Now, as an adult, I wonder where the nerves come from. My voice and hand now shake, but I must say that the 'I hope I've been able to convince but not confuse you' days still come in handy.
Now, let's talk about both introductions in this video. The audition was so relaxed and spontaneous. I actually didn't prepare. I just held the mic and started talking.
However, I prepared so much for the real show, ended up forgetting to say more than half the things I planned, and you can tell that my voice was shaky.

My big girl job requires that I work from home all the time, and contrary to what motivational speakers say, you can be sure to find me in my pajamas all day.
