There’s so much you can change just by telling your story. I have decided to go around sharing my story with hopes that many girls will be inspired to pursue careers that are believed to be for men only. Gender stereotypes make girls lose confidence in themselves and here’s to contributing my quota to change that. @theglobaltemi last post about sharing story (work) has inspired me to put this on here. Please follow @stemladiessummit to find out more about how we are inspiring more girls to break the stereotypes. #educationcannotwait #womeninstem #stemeducation #girlscandostem #

Happy Birthday to my longest standing friend 🎂🎉🥳 My sister the serial entrepreneur. Founder @suzzanne_scissors_rtw @suzzanne_scissors_couture @thenaijabrandfactory & @quinn_winnifred_ Today I want to say that I’m proud of you and all the progress you’ve made over 7 years of building this brands. I pray that your pastures be green and watered and marked by steady increase. That your barn will overflow, and that our good father will bless and prosper all that you do in Jesus name. Wishing you peace, joy and long life.

My daughter is growing up so fast and it’s been making me reflect on this journey so far. I’m no longer the novice I was on day one or even month one… but I’m also very aware that I’m not an expert yet. I’m still learning, still growing, still figuring things out. And sometimes, I just pause and think about the weight of it all, the responsibility of raising this little girl. To raise someone who is godly, courageous, strong, intelligent, confident, and a positive contributor to society. Of course, I’m not doing it alone. I’m doing this with my husband, and with God. But still, it’s a responsibility that humbles me deeply. The other day, I was sharing these thoughts with my dad, and he said something that really stayed with me. He said, the best way to raise a child right is to be a good example. And it made so much sense. If I want her to be courageous, I have to show her what courage looks like. If I want her to be confident, I have to live it. If I want her to be godly, then I have to walk that path myself. If I want her to be kind, disciplined, or even pursue something like science, then I have to model it, guide her, and show her that it’s possible. Because children don’t just listen, they watch. They copy. They become what they consistently see. At the same time, I understand that children will eventually grow and choose their own paths. But I believe that the values planted in them early on never truly leave. So that’s where I am right now learning that who I am is just as important as what I teach. God help me 🙏

Promised Rita that we were going to make the most out of the summer. The weather has been kind for two days in a row so we thought to go outdoors and RiRi had a blast.

Liverpool lived up to its reputation. Had an amazing time reconnecting with my brother and seeing friends from Uni again. Should definitely go back soon.
