Had this KTM 450 in the workshop this week after coming in as a non-runner.
After carrying out some tests, we found the bike was low on compression. We stripped the top end down and found the valves were badly worn.
The bike has now had:✅ Fresh Vertex piston✅ Brand new valves✅ Valve seats re-cut by @bcr_performance
We also MOT’d the bike for the customer and advised him on a few other bits to keep the bike in top condition.

Had this SX150 in this week — the engine came in 3 Asda bags 😂 but that’s not a problem for us.
We stripped everything down, cleaned and inspected all parts, and found a major crack in the cylinder, so we carried out an exchange replacement.
Now the bike is back up and running exactly as it should 👌

We carried out the tray mod upgrade and continued diagnosing the fault until we found the real issue — faulty fuel pump.

Chris came to us complaining of backfiring issues and the bike being hard to start, so we carried out a full check over.

After further testing, we found the fuel pump was the issue. While carrying out our checks, we also noticed play in the swing arm bearings and badly leaking fork seals.
