A note from the EndSARSUK team! Merry Christmas and a Happy New year! We just want to thank everyone who participated, attended, shared our post over the weeks of the #endsars movement and encouraged everyone around the world that we have not finished our work and we should continue to fight for our country Nigeria!
As we know the youths of today are capable of changing the country and not just to follow a trend.
We as young Nigerian’s in diaspora gathered thousands of people across the UK and we just want to say thank you to the all the protest group leaders in Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Birmingham, Coventry, Brighton etc etc.
We honestly appreciate all of you. Please continue to educate yourself on police brutality in Nigeria and SARS! The war is not over and in the nearest future please vote and collect your PVC.

The current situation surrounding the #EndSARS movement in Nigeria is extremely distressing as it is clear that the authorities are suppressing the democratic and fundamental human right to free speech and to peaceful protest as Nigerians stand against police brutality.
A petition calling for an urgent debate on the violence/insecurity in Nigeria and urging the British government to take appropriate action has surpassed the required threshold of 100,000 signatures, and a debate on the petition is scheduled for Monday 23 November 2020 - you’ll be able to watch online on the UK Parliament YouTube channel.
For those of us in the diaspora, this is a perfect opportunity to reach out to our MPs and let them know that this is an issue which concerns us.

Recent developments show that CBN froze the bank of accounts of peaceful #EndSARS protesters. CBN applied for a court order to freeze the bank accounts of accounts they had already frozen claiming false allegations of terrorism financing. Since when is protesting against police brutality classed as terrorism?
Banks such as Access Bank aided this action and chose to sing the side of oppression and dictatorship.
We have to take a stand and show that they cannot get away with this. Lives were lost because they were cut off from medical aid due to their actions.
#Boycottaccessbank by closing your accounts, not supporting their ventures like accelerate tv etc. Don’t let them get away with assisting our oppressors.
May the Nigerian youth remain forever blessed and protected in their fight for justice and a better country.
