A friendly reminder to everyone that it’s okay not to be okay during the holiday season 🫶
Society has taught us that Christmas is the best day of the year & with that often comes a lot of expectations - presents, family get togethers, food, socialising, happiness and laughter. This however, is not the case for everyone.
To anyone struggling this holidays, we see you and we are feeling it right beside you. It’s okay to not have the money to afford extravagant gifts because your illness consumes your bank account. It’s okay to take regular breaks guilt free because no one else suffers the consequences of pushing your own limits. It’s okay to feel sad & envious of those around you living a life you yearn for. It’s okay to take a break from social media. Most importantly, it’s okay to say no. The world may stop for the holidays, but chronic illness doesn’t.
To anyone with a gaping hole in their heart this year, we are sending you our love.
To everyone who is able to achieve their goals no matter how big or small, we are so proud of you.

Kailee (top) Lily (middle) and Riley (bottom) played an unbelievably sick set at ENDOVIT, bringing so much energy and ferocity to the stage 💪
ViperSnatch travelled all the way down from FNQ to help not only spread awareness for endo but to show so much support for a community full of people who need it.
While suffering their own debilitating chronic illnesses alongside crippling endo, Kailee (second slide) brought so much warmth, kindness and knowledge to ENDOVIT. Their willingness to share their own experience to help others was effortless and we are SO FKN GRATEFUL to know them!! Listening to Kailee share their experience with the healthcare system as a non-binary person reiterates just how important it is that we continue to advocate for people of all genders 🫶🖤

WOW this has been emotional to write but it feels quite fitting to sit & reflect on what an incredible day ENDOVIT was on International Day of People With a Disability 🫶
In true chronic illness style, our team landed themselves in a week long fatigue & pain flare but it’s given us so much time to soak in the beauty of ENDOVIT 🖤
When we started ENDOVIT, we had a goal to help get the word endo out in the community and help bring people together who may not normally get the opportunity in mainstream awareness spaces. Over the last 18 months, ENDOVIT has grown and also fostered a greater goal to create an accessible and gender inclusive music event for people of all genders suffering from endo. People of diversity often go unrepresented in large advocacy spaces and people with chronic illnesses and disabilities regularly miss out on events due to accessibility barriers.
Running an event as a chronically ill & disabled person is no easy task but the benefit far outweighs the struggle. This year, we saw 10 bands take the stage - all advocating in different ways - whether it be sharing personal experiences or cheering on those around them. We saw just over 200 people come through the venue, of all shapes, sizes and ages. We saw people let out their voices as they shared their experience through art. There were endo focused and nuanced conversations being had between friends and strangers while anyone could enjoy the full experience of live music while sitting down.
This is only a small glimpse into the incredible impact our 2025 artists, patrons, & team have had on our community. We cannot wait to share more!!
Disability & chronic illness should never be a barrier to connection or entertainment. We are SO PROUD of everyone involved this year & are just as proud that endo is getting a voice in alternative & diverse spaces.
