🎮 Ever wondered what it’s like when students actually build a game together? Heather from our learning team walks through Core: Threadbare, an 18-session program where students create a full StoryQuest in Godot, collaborate on GitHub, and take on different roles, like a mini game studio! Along the way, they build real skills: working together, communicating, managing projects… and, of course, making a playable game or mini-games. Everything is free and ready for educators to use. Curious if this could be a good fit for your students? 👉 Check out the full blog through the website link in our bio! #EdTech #GameDev #CreativeCoding #StudentCreators

Follow Heather from our Learning team as she introduces More: Threadbare, a next step where learners jump into real game dev work. They tackle backlog tasks, build new StoryQuests, and contribute code, art, or story to the ever-growing world of Threadbare. If you’ve got students ready for something deeper, and a little messier, in the best way :) This one’s for you. 👉 Learn more about the program through the website link in our bio! #EdTech #GameDev #CreativeCoding #StudentCreators

If you’re working with a team across different time zones, you know that seamless coordination is key. ✨👾 While version control is essential for any project, sometimes you need a faster way to iterate on design and mechanics in real time. That’s where Backstitch comes in! 💃🏻 It’s a plugin for Godot that brings a “multiplayer” feel to the editor. Instead of waiting for the next sync to see how a teammate’s tweak looks, your changes replicate instantly. You hit save, and the whole team sees the update in their editor within seconds. In the next episode of Loom Lounge, Stephen, Will, and Heather will dive into why they’re excited about tools like Backstitch and how they can help remote teams collaborate more efficiently and creatively. Join us for Episode 6 of Loom Lounge to learn more about how developers are building better workflows, and better games together. Link in bio# #gaming #learning #opensource #gamedev

We’ve all been there, packing that one thing we swear we’re going to use, only to carry it across the world and back without ever touching it. ✈️😂 From books, as @stephenreidedu tells us, to gaming controllers, as @srmanuq admits, the “just in case” packing struggle is very real. What’s the one thing you always bring on a trip but never end up using? Let us know in the comments 👇 If you want to watch the full episode, you can find it through the link in bio. #traveling #gaming #theloomlounge

How orgs are connecting digital skill learning as an immediate path to participate in the digital economy and as door for future opportunities. ✨ At @gamesforchange and the @sdgsummit Nairobi 2026, @hydrolet and @stephenreidedu met an organization training students in 3D animation in Kibera, Kenya. Speaking with @wjjt and @srmanuq , they shared how this type of organization is helping young people connect with the global tech industry, opening doors that once felt out of reach. From learning how to rig and animate to building confidence and creating a future in tech, these stories show the real impact of digital empowerment. We’re proud to witness how access to technology and creative education can transform lives and communities and learn from other organizations as well trying to close the gap in the digital economy. 🎙️ New episode of TheLoomLounge drops this Friday. We just got back from GodotCon Amsterdam, @gamescomlatam in Brazil, and the @gamesforchange & @sdgsummit , and the biggest takeaway wasn’t the tech. It was the people. The pros at the top of their game (pun intended 😉)? They started as beginners too. Same engines. Same bugs. Same messy, beautiful mistakes. This episode, we’re unpacking what we learned about the future of game making, and what it means for educators, game makers, and everyone building the next generation of creators. 🎮 If you teach, make games, or care about where this industry is heading, this one’s for you. Dont miss it. Link in bio. #gamedev #opensource #gamemaking #games #learning

Joselin Gamez, our Senior Manager of Customer Success Operations, walks us through what truly drives our mission at Endless Access. 🩵 She shares how our work in the Device access program with local partners helps bring technology into communities in a way that feels accessible and meaningful, not just as a product, but as a real opportunity. For Joselin, what matters most is seeing the impact firsthand: families who no longer have to pay for their children to complete homework at internet cafés, and kids who can now learn, explore, and grow from home. 🏡 Learn more about the Device Access program at: puter #deviceaccess #digitalaccess #laptopaccess #endless

Silas recently traveled to Kenya’s Coast region to train d.light team members on how to bring Endless computers to more communities. But this work goes far beyond selling a product. It’s about understanding the real impact behind every device. Together, they explored how Endless computers can become a bridge for families living in areas where internet access isn’t always available. With offline access to educational tools, business resources, and essential apps, these devices open up opportunities for learning, growth, and connection, even without reliable connectivity. Because this isn’t just about technology, it’s about expanding access, supporting dreams, and creating real possibilities in people’s everyday lives. We’re proud to be part of work that truly serves communities and supports the bright futures they are building. Grateful to everyone who made this journey possible ✨. #deviceaccess #digitalaccess #endless #kenya
