Got sent this old vid from the archives a few weeks back!
This was filmed during a pretty random period of my life when @mistajago and I were working with the original ragga badman Daddy Freddy at the same time that Jago was raising a baby squirrel. Life is stranger than fiction sometimes I swear!
Fast-forward to the present and this rather naughty bit of ragga UKG is now the title track to my latest EP on @encryptedaudio 👀
Ekula - Dem Love Dis EP (ft. Daddy Freddy, Sarah Telman & Mista Jago): out now on digi and available on limited edition lathe cut vinyl as of Friday (links in bio) 💥
Swipe for some highlights from the track, including:
- Original ragga vocals from Daddy Freddy
- Violin parts and vocal ad-libs from @sarahtelmansarahtonin
- Original ragga vocals from Mista Jago
Big up @encryptedaudio for facilitating the release!
Karnage returns to EA with a new face for your ears - Fetus.
The duo make some of the most forward thinking music within their own solo exploits, but together they are turning into an unstoppable must listen. The sounds harp back to a bygone era of 140 (cough its Dubstep). The tracks ahead of their time now boil down to fit perfectly in any set with a strong recognition of what this sound was founded on!
Step in with ENV034 - Karnage x Fetus
A. Moment
B. Anvil Crawler
BB. Signs of the Swarm
THE PRODUCT IS ALSO AVAILABLE AS A 12" LATHE CUT PACKAGED IN A WHITE ENCRYPTED AUDIO SLEEVE (Plus the Digital) Please note that the timeline for delivery of the lathe cut is extended and will be emailed when the 'PREORDER' status is closed on 20/10. <3 PLUS THE DIGITALS WILL GET SENT THE SAME DATE
Artwork doesn't reflect the finished product, this is for promo purposes only. If the world of vinyl procurement customers (that might be you reading this being na, id rather buy baked beans and a loaf of bread over a new 12" thats calm... BUT you could always not and support Karnage and Fetus!) but if this ever turns around and we are no longer crying to ourselves at EA HQ because of working capital tied up as paperweights in distro due to lack of sales we may end up getting this type of product finalisation back
This one out on the 21.08.23 from B-Say. Second outing on EA doubling down on the previous with even more heat than we know what to do with!
This nearly never happened! The world conspiring against us all!
