Ones To Watch #054 Emzz
This weeks selecta on our Ones To Watch series is Emzz an 18 year old DnB DJ based in Milton Keynes
who has been mixing for just over 2 years now.🎚️
Drum and Bass has always been an interest of his but he only got into DJing after purchasing his dad some decks so he could start mixing again but then ended up hijacking them for himself and hasn't looked back. 💥
Since then he has made friends with other ravers and DJ's and became good friends with the legend that is COPiE who both motivate and push each other to become better DJs 🔥
Emzz takes huge inspiration from Belgian DnB and Jump up and loves all the "frog, laser and alien" noises that accompany it. He also takes inspiration from DJ's such as Amplify, Nick the Lot, Profile, Master Error, Sota and of course COPIE and this shows in his savage jump up selection! 🫨
Emzz claims to spend countless hours mixing and putting sets together and says it's something that he will never get bored of and he looks to push himself further by taking up production and looks forward to being able to play his own tunes to a crowd sometime soon!!💯
When Emzz isn't mixing you'll probably find him at a rave which he enjoys just as much as the DJing side of things in his words it's "The energy, the music, and the overall community that you dont always find with other genres." And when not mixing or raving he will be sat scouring the internet for new tunes to add to the mix. 💥
