Not saying I’m cool but…
I do love my funny little job that I somehow created for myself! I have met such talented & brilliant (genuinely cool) people which I think is the best bit about it.
Honestly, since I started combining Instagram and showcasing art I have had so many cool experiences and I am very grateful for all the opportunities that have come my way!
Sometimes imposter syndrome kicks in and I have to have a little word with myself about my right to be in this space… It’s best not to compare too much I have found! The really cool thing is staying true to yourself even though it doesn’t always feel that way.!
Thank you for humouring me and supporting my art wrangling adventure, it means the world.

The dreamiest studio visit…
I have been following and admiring @jessica_biggs_paintings work for a while now. I feel very honoured to be showcasing a beautiful selection of her work.
Her compositions in oil reflect back to her years as a watercolour painter with her work retaining the delicate, light touch associated with that medium. I adore her almost transparent, luminous layers offering an almost ethereal experience for the viewer. They are incredibly calming and I love her soft colour palette, so pretty…
We loved visiting her Notting Hill studio that she shares with her husband to hear more about her practice and her journey as a painter. I am thrilled to be sharing a beautiful collection of both still life and landscape paintings with you from this Friday at 6pm.
She recently completed a special commission for The Ritz where her work is now on permanent display and if it is good enough for the Ritz right?!

Throwing it back with the exact type of post I used to make about every painting I was showcasing when I first started doing this thing.
The algorithm is a tougher cookie these days and I have found this kind of post doesn’t do as well. I am going to start posting like this again anyway because I have many beautiful paintings for sale who deserve a place on the grid in order to find their forever home!

The more I think about it, in this era of ai and online living, the more important it is to me to surround myself with beautiful things actually created by other human beings… It’s a connection thing. It’s feeling part of something real. Does anyone else feel like that? Or is that too deep for a Sunday morning?!!
Apparently, I am also a fan of a shaky bit of video if you can’t tell! It adds character to the reel right? These clips were taken during my open gallery event last weekend, how was that a week ago?!
