Turns out, putting yourself first can be the scariest and most exciting thing all at once.
After four unforgettable years with an incredible team as Shoot Producer, over 700 productions produced, problem solving daily, working with some of the most talented creatives and crew, lots of travel, late nights, and a whole lot of heart and hustle - it’s time for me to put down my red cap & put on my own.
This hasn’t been a quick or easy decision, It’s been a year of thinking, feeling, questioning, and realising there’s an exciting gap available around me that I’m ready to step into.
From April 2026 I’ll be going freelance while putting time into my documentary funding projects over the next 5 years that I’ve been dying to work on.
To the MRP team and crew, you’re not getting rid of me that easily (sorry!) I’ll still be freelancing with the MRP team wherever possible, just now with the opportunity to take on exciting projects across KZN too.
I’m locked, loaded, and beyond excited to give KZN what it’s always needed, a Producer Em.
@theproducerem for all things work and shoot related 🌶️
A little appreciation post for my @barryfromwedge who makes every day a better day 🤍
You can literally do anything & be the bravest version of yourself when you have the right partner loving and supporting you. Luckiest gal ✨
