Over the years I’ve released pieces under different collections.
State of Mind.
Lost.
They reflected where I was at the time, but after a while I felt the need to step back and really understand what I wanted Empty Set to become.
The past year has been a process of pushing, making, destroying, restarting, rebuilding, and improving. A lot of ideas that didn’t survive. A lot of things that had to be unlearned so something clearer could take shape.
Looking back, it feels like I’ve been counting from –2, –1, 0, trying to understand what the beginning should look like.
And only now do I feel like I’ve arrived at 1.
So this is the first collection I’m naming with purpose and intent.
Kemet.
During our last visit to y’all’s dm, @_jbabeee_ said she needed a set.
We said: bet, let’s make it fun.
600 likes = she gets the set
1k likes = we add a “Prioritize Humanity” tag to the next drop
Lets help her win.
Like, share, invite people to do the same.
We’ve been digging through some community fits and wanted to share a few of our favorites, alongside a little update on what we’ve been up to lately.
Behind the scenes, we’ve been working hard on our next collection dropping this summer under the Elements line. Pictures 6, 11 and 12 are from our recent visits to different gardens as we searched for the perfect location for our summer campaign.
We came across a stunning spot in Charneca da Caparica, Lisbon filled with soft yellows and lavender flowers but sadly, it turned out to be private property. If anyone knows of a location with a similar vibe in either the Netherlands or Lisbon, we’d be so grateful if you reached out. Every bit of help means a lot.
With love,
Empty Set
Amidst the snow, rain, and all the moody spring weather, the sun finally showed up in Lisbon the other day, and we couldn’t help but bask in it.
Here’s a reminder of what better days feel like! #shotoniphone

A few days ago, we sat down with DJ Fabrícia, a nurse by day, DJ by night, and co-founder of @lx.cozy , to ask her seven questions for a special collaboration with Empty Set.
Instead of posting the full 4mins interview, we’re breaking it into two parts to keep it engaging.
Here’s Part 1, stay tuned for the rest. Shot by @knight_d.q Interviewer by @18klaurent
